Sunset and clouds, Eastern Sierra, April 2008
This image was made on Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day using a 4×5 ZeroImage pinhole camera with reducing back and 3.25″x4.25″ peel-apart instant film. Lately I have been shooting with the holga but Laura let me use her pinhole camera for the occasion. This image was taken as the sun was going down behind the Seirra Nevadas. There were some really amazing clouds that had blown in just for the occasion. The clouds combined with the light streaming up in piercing rays was irresistable.
